Water temperatures issues – Water is cold
Either a lack of power, a faulty thermostat or a faulty heating element
Start eliminating power as a supect by resetting tripped circuit and replacing blown fuses. Or check power switches to make sure they are turned on and power indicator are lit and check the thermostat to make sure it’s receiving power.

Water is warm, but not hot enough
Undersized water heater, crossed hot and cold connections or a faulty heating element or thermostat.
Rule out a crossed connection by turning off the water supply and turning on a hot water tap

Blow Fuse or tripped circuit breaker
Hot water is constantly running into the overflow
The pressure relief valve is worn out or malfunctioning.
Have the pressure relief valve replaced by a plumber Take a photo of the valve with the serial number clearly visible so the plumber can make sure he takes the correct one to site and avoid 2 visits.
